Can anyone recommend a photographer who does nice baby photos? I've searched and found a couple of adverts for wedding photographers -- not quite what I'm looking for.
Thanks.

Anna Drabinski was our wedding photographer, however she sent us a card when she had her own baby and that was a very good photo (and overall design).
I don't think she has her own studio, though, so if you want that you'd still need to look elsewhere.

Thanks -- we'll start here. I don't need someone with a studio at all -- actually was hoping they would come to the house! I'll contact her for samples.
how much money you got spare? buy yourself a canon 350d or 400d plus the 50mm 1.8 prime, and you can take millions of pictures that will all look fantastic!!

Does anyone know of places in Munich that take baby portraits? I am looking for something similar to Sears, JCPennys, or Walmart in the US. I have a 9 month old that is due to have portraits taken, but don't have the first clue where to look. Any suggestions?

Since my original post, I've come across some places around town, but can't help you with specifics. For example, I've seen one somewhere in Solln, and I've seen one in
Pep shopping center next to or near
Kaufland.
In the end, we did use stephanie wolfsteiner (referenced above). She was fantastic, the photos are gorgeous (but then, so is the baby). However, she is not priced in the same category as Wall Mart or JC Penny...

I do highly recommend her, though.

How old was your baby then? Was it difficult to get your gorgeous one to pose?

She was 5 months - I held her for some shots (only my hand is visible in the photos) and we put her on her tummy on the bed for some other shots. No problem at all - just make sure to time it so that baby is rested and fed, and be prepared to take some breaks if necessary.

I do think it is money well spend to buy an SLR digital camera...if your little one is so young. Studio's are so exspensive, I know a friend payed 275 euro's for 3 family 8x10 pictures.
At least if you have your own you can capture those non posed moments...like chocolate round their face.
I have so many pictures of my boys, it was the best thing that I ever bought.
