I want to visit Liverpool for old times sake.
Is there a direct flight from Munich

Nope...
Manchester is the only Direct flight to the NW

Is it simply that you are too lazy to look yourself? In case you are simply too stupid to find information yourself, maybe in English, then you can checkout departures (in English) from Munich
here, cheap flights in general from Munich to all UK airports
here or Lufthansa in English

If you don't mind flying with RyanAir, I have flown Salzburg to Liverpool. There is the usual weight restriction of 15kg on luggage of course!
Speke Airport connects to Liverpool centre by bus or rail, and I used the fast bus to Manchester.

Ryanair no longer fly that route; from Salzburg they fly only to "London" Stansted and Dublin. Further to YL6's suggestions, check the
Liverpool Airport website to see who flies there and from where.

herejust a question for YL6, if a fellow Brit (albeit a possible scouser) came up to you and asked for advice on flights to your face, would you usually call them lazy and stupid? Personally i think you are well out of order saying things like that. Are you the sort of person who gets angry behind a computer screen or are you like it anyway? genuine questions of course. If someone called me stupid and lazy I would be a little upset and would perhaps persue it a little. Mods is this acceptable?

If someone came up to and asked me for such information, I'd tell them where to look. Which is what I did. If I thought they were capable of finding the information themselves and were being simply lazy I'd tell them too. Which is also what I did.
If you have a problem with my posting(s) there is a little button marked "Report" on the left side of each text. Feel free to use it. Hope I have been of assistance.

hereIf I asked you in a pub and this was your answer then I would think you are a totally un-agree-able person. Calling me stupid and lazy. Is it not the point of a forum for some level of discussion.

Wouldn't say that. Just did a test search for a week in July. Even switching my dates so I am in Manchester from Wed-Wed instead of Sat-Sat, I am still looking at 180€ return. I've often found flights for less than that from Munich-Manchester with Lufthansa, and that's without changing as well...

But you wouldn't ask me in a pub, as I don't go near the places you do. The point of a forum is to provide information for those that need it, not for those too lazy to find it themselves.
And I did give you a number of pointers to information sources for the future, so I'll assume your gratefulness is implied.

What is an un-agree-able person?
I've googled it - nothing.

un-agree-able - someone who believes that them soldiers in blue uniforms are capable of performing the task they say they can

Thank you Crawlie!
There are, however, some who might un-agree with you.

Well, as long as they un-agree without being un-respectful. I would certainly un-approve of that

It's something like it's a girl's thing, like a quote, it can mean what ever you want it to mean.
