some friends from nyc are flying into Hamburg tonight for a wedding. Does anyone have bar recs for them in Hamburg?

Something in St. Pauli (or near) not too posh with a fun atmosphere.
They are eating at Indochine tomorrow night so preferably nothing right on the port, please.

Thanks!!

The Shamrock is in St Pauli - its got all the sports and is far, far cheaper than the other Irish bars too. Darts and table football too. http://www.shamrockirishbar.com

What kind of music do you prefer?

all sorts really. I like indie music especially seeing live bands and I like dance music too but house music not techno.

Can anyone suggest the top bars/clubs/restaurants/beach bars to visit in Hamburg on a Monday night (Mon 10th March)? I must make a list of the best places to visit and their street addresses. Trendy, cool, hotspots, popular places - are the keywords to remember. Any suggestions greatly appreciated:)
