Dhanurvidya

(pronounced - dhe noor vee dhe ya ... well almost wink.gif )

is a very ancient form of Martial arts from India. One that trains the mind, body and soul in tandem. It is not a sport but more a way of life for many people (me included). It made me a calmer person and taught me to see more than one side of any given situation. First aid, weapon training, swimming, gymnastics, confidence...it has given me so much (not to mention made me fit biggrin.gif) that I am very happy to be able to invite all of you to come and experience this for yourself.

No this is not an advertisement (there is no charge of any sort) ...might be shameless plugging but it is worth it...to watch the sheer physical and metal skill of the performer is astounding and well worth the hour or so it should take from traveling to the viewing of the demo.

The performance will be given by the guru - Jagdish Singh Bramta and although on a relatively small scale, will be something that you will enjoy seeing.

Time, date, venue (not necessarily in that order) -

16:00 hrs, 24th May, MW 1801 (Ernst-Schmidt-Hörsaal) in the engineering department of the Technical University of Munich (Garching).
