Hi all,
Can someone give me guidance with Scheinselbständigkeit (pseudo self-employment, freelancer, consultant). Not for me, but a friend that will be going this route in the near future. How does it work?
Any good lawyers to recommend to set this up and support the person in question?
Thanks!
The search function is your friend:
Freelance. Not all the threads are relevant to your question but you'll find useful information in quite a few.

You friend actually wants to be Scheinselbständig? That should be interesting, because it's essentially it's illegal as it is considered to be a vehicle for avoiding employee/employer requirements to pay social insurances.

No, she would like to be a freelancer (the scheinselbstäandig... is just the term she used to describe this)...

Thanks Kay, I was searching with the wrong words... usually pretty good at that. Loads of info there.
