Hoping that of the Billions who are reading the "Name the movie" thread - (which although i haven't joined into, have stayed up wayyyyy too late enjoying the banter) someone can help me with the name of a movie i watched, but didn't see the end of (think it was getting too silly or too late)

Anyway - I saw it on TV so didn't rent it or anything.
An american movie.
Think it was quite recent (Maybe last 5ish yrs) with semi-famous actors (seen 'em before in other films) but no big names i can remember. Possibly Michael Rapaport (but not sure...) - note: did a quick "imdb" movie check on him but couldn't recognise any titles.

It was a Stag "Do" that went wrong. A few normal men, some with wife and kids getting together all in the one vehicle (i think) to travel to the hotel.

One of the guys took a prostitute back to his room and she accidentally got stabbed (dead) by a large piece of mirror (which broke while they were "getting up to stuff" on the bathroom sink)

They panic and run, and all hell breaks loose trying to cover things up. Things get worse and i do remember one of the guys running his "friend" over as he wanted to go to the police (or something like that) Mmm, might have slammed into him with vehicle while he was standing outside a car.

Anyway, been bugging me for a while, hope someone recognises it.
Was it crap?
Should i have watched the rest? (think it got a bit violent for me)
'Should be easy for you guys.
Cheers

Movie: "Very Bad Things"

# Synopsis: She was the perfect stripper for a bachelor party. There was only one problem, she was dead. Christian Slater, Cameron Diaz, Jon Favreau, Jeremy Piven, Daniel Stern and Leland Orser star in the savagely funny, unexpected comedy, Very Bad Things. Kyle Fisher (Favreau) has one last night to celebrate life as a single man before marrying Laura (Diaz), so he sets out to Vegas with four of his best buddies. But a drug and alcohol filled night on the town with a stripper who goes all the way, turns into a cold night in the desert with shovels when the stripper goes all the way into a body bag after dying in their bathroom. And thats just the first of the bodies to pile up before Kyle can walk down the aisle. The four friends decide to bury the evidence, but fate has a way of not letting the truth stay buried for long several ways in fact, all outrageous, all hilarious and full of jaw-dropping surprises.

Sounds familiar?

Some might suggest "Christian Slater" and "Cameron Diaz" are big names though...

OMG !!!
I stopped watching a movie with Christian Slater and John Favreau in it !!!
I was clearly very unwell on that very late night.
Crikey !!!
I hang my head in Movie Shame...

Daniel Stern must have been the "Michael Rapaport" guy I was thinking of.
In my defense, Cameron Diaz wasn't in the bit i watched - but then i didn't remember Mr Slater - (maybe its because he was nasty in it and I have wiped that image from my mind...)
ohh, and it was a year or more ago since my blurry memory of 30mins of the movie - no excuse though really eh?

In all fairness, I got lucky, and google can be a bit of a black art at times... Anyway, glad to help...

That movie was a bit of black art. Painful to watch it was.

I think this film is a classic - I can easily watch it again - brilliant acting and a very black comedy funny almost true story.
I think of it as a Black Comedy version of a Laurel and Hardy type film.
Timmeh
The prozzie in that film was well hot

That movie was the most appropriately named movie ever. It was indeed very bad...

Yeah Euruovol

I vaugley remember it being difficult to watch as the violence increased and the tension built up. Not good with tension.
If i hadn't been watching it alone it would have maybe been better.
But i also remember thinking it was getting ridiculous too...

I like my movies and very rarely give up on one, so it has haunted me as to what it was for a while - began thinking i'd dreamed it!!! still can't believe i don't recal Christ.Slater etc etc. WHAT was wrong with me!! blink.gif
