Hi,
I was looking for Cadbury Flakes and Angels Delight a while ago and couldn't find them, but now I found a webshop that's based in England sending out British Food. Only orders up to 2kg though because of the Rip-Off Britain postage when sending things from the UK to anywhere else.
They didn't have the flakes either, but I contacted them and asked if they could get them - and they did and even put them in the shop. Prices aren't low though. It's britannia-food.co.uk btw. If you want something you can't get in other shops it's probably worth a look.

If it is an advert it's a bad one - the link goes down a black hole...

No, I joined TT because someone who has been living in Munich told me it might be of interest here

I didn't even hear of TT before that. If it's not, then sorry. But I can't see how to tell someone about how to get certain things without mentioning the place where you could get it?

If you're looking for flakes then try here:
http://www.british-shopping.de/I get my bacon and yorkies from here... plus they have flakes and snowflakes as well!
I haven't ordered on-line from then as I live near the shop so I can't comment on what their delivery service is like.

http://www.britanniafood.com/ exists but doesn't have anything about Cadbury's Flake.

It does have chocolate in general though, but by their descriptions they don't seem very appetising.

I am pretty sure the British store in Heidelberg (Piccadilly Shop, by

Does anyone know if you can buy Cadbury chocolate at all in Munich? They say that Swiss/German chocolate is meant to be the best, but frankly, I think it tastes like crap. Milka especially. Lindt I can handle, but its still pretty poor. I brought 10 blocks of Cadbury's back from my trip to Australia but I'll run out soon and it'd be good to be able to get some more.

Hertie at
Hauptbahnhof sometimes stocks it in their food hall - have previously bought Whole Nut or Dairy Milk there. Pomeroy & Winterbottom certainly stock it and you may also want to try Karstadt at Münchner Freiheit, again in the food hall.

Hertie definitely stocks it in their 'confectionary' dept in the underground floor at Karlsplatz..I buy it regularly there.

Jadawin, depending on where you are in Germany, you can get Flakes and Angel Delight at the English shop in Körtestraße or Leonhardtstraße in Berlin.

You can forget Hertie for Cadbury's* chocolate - I was looking for some the other week and they didn't have any. When I asked the girl informed me that it had been taken off their stock list, so they no longer have it and will not able to order it in future. And Karstadt didn't have any either. I drew a blank at Kaufhof as well, as usual.
*I was looking for Dairy Milk in particular - but they didn't have any.

@TheSwedishChef
The chocolate itself is better in the UK. This is a fact. I've heard its because in Australia there is some additive to stop it melting so readily, which is important in Australia. That said, I wish they had the range in the UK that they have in Australia. In the UK, they basically have Fruit and Nut, Dairy Milk, Hazelnut and White. There are about another 20 varieties in Australia - Snack (definitely a favourite), Peppermint, Top Deck, Black Forest etc.. the list goes on..

Easy there tiger.
Well, I guess we have two choices. Agree to disagree, or a duel on the Wiesn at dawn.
I'm for the latter.

Snack is useless, since I only ever eat the Strawberry, Caramel, and Orange chubblies.
You're missing the Caramello Koala. And Breakaway. Top innovation that. Chocolate and wafers, who would have thought eh?

Hmm, lots of interest here, I wonder if I should buy several boxes of assorted cadburys products when I am home in June, I can then stop off in Munich on my way to Garmisch in July & flog it, so I'll be in the Munich Bahnhof on the 18th selling cadburys

True, Freddo Frogs are gold as well. As for Breakaway, check out this quote from the Cadbury website in Australia:

And as for the Breakaway, I suggest that we will very shortly come to blows if you keep up this commentary.

I was wondering if that rumor about Aussie Cadbury's was true... so it must be! The Australian Cadbury's is sooo much better. I found Cadbury's in Spain and I was so excited, but then I ate it and it just didn't taste right. I want my special chemicals put in! But I guess that we can't get the aussie stuff here, hey?
I just picked up a half pound offcuts of flake for next to nothing at the cadburys shop in Edinburgh.
Wonder if they fell off the back of a lorry?

If you like to buy them in bulk (e.g. crisps + chocs for kids parties) then you could try:
http://www.americansweets.co.uk/bulk-british-candy-137-c.aspThe australian cadburys /Black Forest! My fave...) can be bought over at
http://www.greataussiefood.com.au/ but be warned you have to pay import duties, so again, not worth it unless you order a fairly large amount/club together with friends etc...
