Anyone know where I can find the best selection of colored sand? I also wouldn't mind ordering from the internet if thats an option. Thanks!

have you tried arts and crafts suppliers like Boesner?

The only arts and craft store I know is Idee under Mathäser..and I tried them but they didn't have the right color..I need turquoise.

If it's only turquoise you're looking for, Das Depot has turquoise 'sand' - it's not very fine, quite coarse, but it's turquoise. I think it comes in plastic tubs of 600g.

Thanks but it should be pretty fine...not the course stuff that looks more like tiny stones than sand.

Pity this thread wasn't last week, I just chucked away a layered sand ornament I made there. i'm sure we could have extracted the required coloured grains somehow!

give Boesner a call. Their shop is a bit out of town, near Segmüller, but they are one of the largest suppliers.

pretty sure I saw some at OBI in the crafts section a few weeks ago. Think I have seen it also at Toom.
