Hi,

I'm going to be visiting Lindau in late June/early July. I saw online that the euroregio ticket allows one to take the ship, train, bus, etc. within a specified zone for free with the purchase of the ticket. Has anyone used this ticket before? And if so, is what I assumed correct?

Also, is Mainau worth the visit? And does anyone have a recommendation for which ferry to take over there?

Thanks so much!

Yes.

Mainau is worth a visit in my view.

boat routes map
There are direct boats from Lindau to Mainau. See at this timetable brochure on page 9.
An option would be also the Kombiticket Mainau. Covers the boats to Mainau and entrance fee there. EUR 35,00 from Lindau. Stopovers are to my knowledge allowed.
