So comments on another thread and a few conversation with other people who are going promted me to start this one. Is anyone else going to any Rugby World Cup matches?

I have tickets for Wales v Canada (Nantes), Wales v Australia (Cardiff), Wales v Japan (Cardiff) and Wales v Fiji (Nantes).

If people are going to the same matches we might be able to arrange travel together or pre- and post-game drinks.

I'd LOVE to go to any games involving South Africa, but the tickets seem to have been unavailable for a while now. The ticketing website is so crap though, I'm still in doubt about whether everything is really sold out.

@OG: when/where did you get your tickets?
Owain Glyndwr
i bought them off the official website the week they became available. You might some tickets become available shortly before the games.

Okay, thanks for the info, I'll just have to be more organised in the future. I also see they have a notification system on the website you can register for to be informed when more tickets do become available, so I'll def try that. And I'm guessing that they'll be holding back tickets for the knock-out stages until it becomes clear who plays in them - maybe I've got a chance there.

I have tix to England S. Africa, England Tonga and 1/4 final Winner of Group A...(I'm the optimisic type).

Has anyone received their tickets yet??
Owain Glyndwr
hey Leky, if by some bad luck England do not top their group and you are not interested in going to that quarter final, can I have first dips on buying them off you? Wales will likely come second in their group (hopefully) so will end up in this quarter-final.

edit: nope, not received my tickets. I checked the status the other day and they hadn't been sent out. Apparently they go by registered mail.

Hi Owain,

Will definately consider you, but I figure that if we don't win the group there will be a few S. Africans running around with tix to the other game that want to swap as both games are in Marseille & 1 on the 6th & the other the 7th, if we don't even come second, then I'm sure my husband will consider selling my tix to offset the funeral costs tongue.gif .

I had a look at the site yesterday & it stated that new tickets were available, also noticied they had tickets for all S. Africa games except versus England.

I will probably see the All Blacks twice, but I certainly will not be supporting them twice!
I will support them once however if they play against the Aussies in the final, otherwise not at all!

Yay! They were delivered by courier to my London address.

so, Mook32 and I have just booked our trip to Nantes for Wales v Canada. Fly with Air Berlin to Paris then take the TGV to Nantes. Shame the TGV extension to Munich won't be finished, otherwise we could have trained it all the way.
