Here's mine:
A Nokia 1610 - I'll always remember the first time I roamed with it. Twas just after getting off a plane in Brussels in September '97...

Actually I had an analogue Sony before that (with an Irish Eircell 088 number) which I purchased in a shop in the Tallaght Pyramid but I can't find a pic of it...

Siemens S25 - Circa 1998

My first was a Nokia 2110 back in '97. Twas a work phone when I was at Esat Digifone. Still have it and it still works. I've had over 15 phones since. Nothing could match the 2110 for durability. We used to throw them against the wall for a laugh. Currently using a Motorola V3i.

Not got a pic of it but it was a brick of a Motorola Manhattan- my God technology's come a long way since then... although it did work for over 2 years and was still working when I traded it in... unlike today's mini-phones that you struggle to get 18 months out of
eurovol
It looked something like this except is was in a briefcase. It was heavy too.

Pirulero
I can't find a pic anywhere but my dad had this THING that had a base unti as big as an 8086 desktop and the phone itself was the size of a dvd burner...genius...aerial was a metre long too...

This is my second phone...a Nokia 101:

I thought the acest feature was that it could nearly fit in your pocket.

I had an earlier phone, but I can nae remember what it was.
Eck Spatz
@KD: You were doin well back then to have a 2110. (I guess I overlooked a previous topic on this subject - sorry...)

My 1610 fell out of my pocket on the Donnybrook Road and got rolled over by a car. But it still worked. Well kind of... Those were bricks, those old phones. Check out the Home of the Vintage and Rare Mobile Phones .

I had the Motorola Talkabout 180, I think. I got it in January or February 2001 or something.

eurovol
This was the first that my parents had. At least it was "mobile" instead of just "portable". Cost a fortune to operate though.

Sony-Ericsson 1018 in around 1999. It came with a funny belt clip - the only thing I remember about the phone is that on the very first day I went out with friends and it fell on the toilet floor in a pub on Oxford street. blink.gif

This one but in dark red:

Johnny English
1987 Motorola. Fitted in my car. Cannot find a picture as I don't think the Internet had been invented in those days.
Rilana
had the same one as Eck Spatz'...
JerseyBoy
My first was when I was in Sydney, an old Ericsson (GS 337, I think):

But what's the problem with that? rolleyes.gif Some of us weren't here the first time around, now we get the chance to join in... smile.gif
Eck Spatz
Exactly. Well, you know what they say, Toytown is occasionally accused of being a clique ... huh.gif It's like "doh, we've said all that before!"
Uncle Nick
Oh my God! He said the "c" word!
Eck Spatz
Oh, that's terrible... ohmy.gif
