Super 14 rugby union semi-finals

Does anyone know of a pub that will be showing the super 14 rugby semi-finals 12th May Saturday

Yes also keen, maybe the Aussie pub, Outland?

If one of the SA teams make through to the final I'll be keen to watch the final!

I should imagine that the Arc will be showing it as well.

Just spoken to the guys at ARC , the first game sharks v blues starts at 6pm followed by the bulls v crusaders at 8 pm . Both games are delayed viewing because of some english premier rugby. They will be showing the game on one small TV as there is a big ice hockey game on.

Oh, that sucks. I guess that's better than nothing, being a Crusaders fan myself.



You got to hand it to the Super 14 series: wihout a doubt the best rugby tournament in the world after the World Cup.

crusaders are going to have their work cut out when they visit the bull ring , being a saffa and with I am hoping for a all Saffa final. Not often we have a team in the top 4 nevermind 2

I've waited 13 years for our (SA) teams to play properly in the Super 10/12/14, and now that they've done it, the semis are being broadcast delayed because of rubbish premier English rugby, and shown on a small TV because of some ice-hockey? I'm going to have to protest!

it looks like it has finally happened two SA sides in the final , very good news for SA rugby , looking forward to the Tri-nations.

Went to The ARC , the place was a dive , the two oldboy's behind the bar were less than interested in finding the rugger on TV despite there being about 3 people in the place so I decided to head off to the OUTLANDER which was by far a better call , they showed both games on all the screens and a much better vide

After having already spent around half an hour looking for the Super 14s on our satellite systems and not being able to find any mention or scheduling of rugby other than the Guinness Rugby League, I wouldn't exactly say I was unwilling to look for the game(s).
Yes, we were scheduled to show two ice hockey games on Saturday - the two Semi Finals of the world championships which brought good numbers of people into The Arc.
As for there only being three people in the bar when you arrived - yes, we had a quite couple of hours between the two semi-finals.

Sorry I didn't mean to offend , maybe next time I will hang around long enough to enjoy instead of just popping in.

What TV channel were the games shown on at the Outland? I also popped in at the Arc to try catch the games and went home disappointed (well, first I had a Weissbier, then I went home disappointed). Anyway, the final next weekend will probably also not be reliably found in schedules, since the time and location weren't decided in advance, but I'm going to track down a place to watch it all the same.

Is the final being shown at Outland? Anyone know the time?

The final is shown on t'internet as being on SSX (Sky Sports Xtra), but I am sitting here in The Arc looking for the game and it is NOT listed anywhere on the satellite schedule. SSX lists Americas Cup as being broadcast.

If anyone can tell me the exact channel where it is being shown, then I will happily show it here at The Arc.

Well, congratulations to the Bulls for winning this year's Super 14 final. And for becoming the first team from South Africa to win in the tournament's 11-year history.

I'm not a fan of the South African teams, but I think both the Bulls and the Sharks played a fine game in this final. Next year it'll be good to see the world's second greatest rugby competition (after the Rugby World Cup) expand to become the Super 16 with the inclusion of two Argentinian teams.
