Fusion Festival - at Lärz airfield, north Germany

Anyone going to fusion festival here? supposedly the burningman of germany.

This is Lärz airfield in McPomm? Lärz is the only surviving airfield in the area known as Rechlin where German aircraft were developed up to WWII.

It was a Russian MIG base until reunification and is now a private airfield - our club held Summer gliding camp there in
2004 I think - its miles from anywhere. Have filmed a Luftwaffe Tornado landing there...

& no - I wont be there for this non-flying activity

It's about 100km north-west of Berlin, half-way to Rostock.

Looking for festivals on in the summer and stumbled across this but.. what the hell is it all about? Couldnt work it out.

and fusion is not like fu...in burningman... it is an communist festival, the fusion of all kinds of electronical music, theather, cabaret, cinema etc, etc, etc...

they dont want to earn money, so the ticket is cheap.
and go tehre on wednesday and dont leave before monday afternoon ))

no really, in the last 10 years i was tere 4 times (it is one of the reasons that i came back in june this year to germany) and it is the best festival in the world...this year its over but my wristband says 25.06. till 29.06.09 is the date to go there... this year i met there guys from greece, sweden, argentinia andidunnowhereelse...
