Hello,
I will be travelling in Summer to the Tatra Mountains in Solvakia! I will be taking a train from Krankow to Slovakia. Can anyone know where do I get off in which station in order to visit the Tatra's? Although I did read that Poprad is the station to start the journey to the Tatras, it is far east and is not in the regular route! Has anyone done this route before?
Since I plan to stay 2 days at this place (1 day in the Tatras & 1 days for the Slovak Raj National park for limestone trail) I would like to book a hotel which is very convienient so that I do not need to rely on public transport to get to the place. Anyone could suggest the hotel as well as about public transport?

The major station for access to the Slovak Tatras is Porad Tatry.
ALL trains running between (Bratislava, Prague, Brno, Vienna) - Zilina - Kosice stop there.
If you are heading for the western end of the Tatras you could get off at the station called Strba though slightly fewer trains stop there.
From there you can take the rack railway to the resort Strbske Pleso. But Poprad is the main one.
From Poprad, little trains run every 30 minutes or so up to the resorts but allow 45-90 minutes for the journey depending where you are going.
Though TBH, you'd be MUCH better going from Krakow by bus.
The problem with the Tatras in the high summer is that it can be hard to find somewhere to stay and also many places in the resorts want a whole weeks booking usually Saturday to Saturday.
This is less likely to happen in Poprad where there are different kinds of accommodation from youth hostels to pensions to posh hotels.
For the genuine Tatra expereince I'd reccoment staying in a mountain hut.

You are going to have to use public transport to get around whereever you end up staying, whether its down in the valley or the up the mountains.
To the stations that are close to the start of the trails in Slovensky Raj, a train runs from Poprad every 2 hours or so.
Bring a day rucksack that is large enough for spre clothes etc and leave your main bag at the left luggage in poprad station while you hike around.
