Maybe a fair distribution of the silverware this year, Man U get the Premiership, Chelski get the micky mouse cup, and perhaps FA Cup, and Liverpool to pick up the European Cup?

No way Pepper would like to see all the silver ware go to the N.W. as that is where i come from
I believe Gallas was a major loss to Chelsea, and together with Terry's injuries and Shevchenko underperforming is what hurt them most. The inclusion of Vidic and Carrick at United were bonuses, but it has been Ronaldo's season-long form that has been the major difference.

don't forget balleck underperforming in fact not performing at all just a leisure walk about on the pitch , can not play alongside with lampard. a very bad signing get rid of him now along with shevchenko.2 expensive signings that came to nothing.
Forgot all about Bollock... he's that memorable.

The top four can all go and jump in a lake, especially Chelsea.

Why would that be? For playing entertaining football? For having the fittest most skillful players? Yer not gonna lay that "Rich club" shit on me, are you? Because for nearly half a century I supported a club that won the old first division the year before I was born. I saw them try hard, get relegated, win a cup final or two and lose one or two. So if they got lucky, like other clubs which have always had a bit of dosh, then I'm, frankly, BOTHERED. If Spurs had treated Mr Abramovich a little better when he visited them, they could well be champions of England. As it is, he lasded his chopper on my patch, and saved my club from the position Leeds now find themselves in. So, I ask you again. What is it about the top four teams you so object to?

Even the reserves did us proud.

Yeah, playing against the reserves of Chelsea, this was just a stupid match, neither team really cared !
I am neither a Man U or Chelski fan !

What are you on about pepper, ya roaster. Yes, neither team really wanted to win it, but both teams wanted to kick the shit out of each other!!! That makes it worthwhile, doesn't it?! Gets it all out of the way before the FA Cup Final so that we can hopefully see a fantastic game. There were about 4 tackles worthy of straight reds in that game and once again Poll bottled it every time. Shit fucking ref. Anyways, I'd call that a good thuggish warm up to the final with all card players having retained their aces for the big one. Roll on 19 May!!!

You really think the FA Cup is going to be fantastic?

May 10 2007, 12:55 am
Well, I don't see why not. These two teams are gonna be well up for it. United will be desperate to do 'the double' over Chelsea, who will be doing their absolute utmost to stop them and complete their own 'cup double'. What the hell would be the point of just sitting back and hoping you'll sneak it? The other team is simply too good in attack for that. Maybe I'll be proved wrong, but I think they're both gonna go for it from the off. If it's a bore draw and decided on penalties, I'll be doing my best to have this post removed!!!

Anyways, it's getting late...zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

It should be a great final. Man U looking to add the FA Cup to the Premiership win and Chelsea looking to add to its glorious success in the League Cup... I am sure Abramovic is much happier with the prospect of winning the cup double as opposed to, say, the Champions League...
You're starting to sound like Rick Parry, who I quote:

"I guess when you've invested £500m it's a fantastic season to win the League Cup."

Well, the man has a point. Abramovic did not invest an ungodly sum of money to win a couple of Premiership titles and the league cup. As much as I hate to say it - Man U has achieved a hell of a lot more on a fraction of the budget and they have a manager who at least shows a little respect towards his colleagues. Liverpool has made 2 Champions League finals in 3 years without the outrageous spending of Chelsea...
Liverpool has not been close to the Premiership but then when you have 4 of the very best teams in Europe contesting it every season it will never be an easy task.
