Anyone interested in dancing?

Hi all

I am new to Munich and am interested in learning Disco fox or Salsa , and would be happy if someone is interested to join any such course with me .

Here is the interest groups listing for Salsa / Latino dancing. For salsa clubs and courses do a search for "salsa" (the search box is in the upper right corner of your screen) - you'll find a lot of useful information there, just ignore the threads on recipes for tomato salsa.

well can anyone reccomend some good dancing schools here in munich?? I haven´t done any so I want to start new and I also do not speak german yet. Would like to know wether anyone is interested to go with me, it will be fun.

Dear Sherro, Find any dancing school yet? I used to dance salsa quite a bit and would go back and take classes with pleasure. I know there are a couple places in my neck of the woods (Harras) and I just have to check out the details (time schedule, etc).I wouldn't mind going with someone to gave a good laugh(who knows-maybe only elderly men show up for these things! Though, I'd hope to see an Antonio Banderas or two!) I can also give you a couple of adresses where you can salsa on the tables once you've got the good moves down! I'm surprised I haven't fallen off a bar counter yet! Ha!

Been in Munich for 3 months now, so fairly new, but was in Vienna for 8 years, where I did some classes in ballroom dancing (just the basics!)
Always been interested in Latin dancing though...! I'm based in Schwabing, near Englische Garten. I teach at the university, Scotsman, 29 yo.

Is someone interested in Tango Argentino-classes? I would like to start in September, in the sommer evenings a Biergarten is much better than Dancing classes

I'd be interested in Tango classes; I've played the music before, in a jazz band, and love it, but very little actual dancing experience...lots of enthusiasm though
