was up to play, but not feeling too good, had one to many cocktails last night. Maybe next weekend.

Was good fun, nice meeting a few new people. We should definitely go for it again next weekend.

My legs are not cooperating much today. But I still think it was great!

Yeah, lets go for Saturday the 5th at 4pm. This way those who play Ult. Frisbee have a shot at joining us.

So, we will meet at that Kiosk (Tivoli?) which sits right at the intersection shown on the map below. And of course we can enjoy a trip to the nearby beer garden after our game.

To make our efforts a bit more organised and for having a better idea about numbers we have now an American Touch Football Sign-up Sheet. So if you want to run around for a couple of hours playing or trying to play american football, if you are a passionate fan, if you are just curious about how it works then just put your name down and join the rest. No experience necessary, absolute beginners are more than welcome.
The games are usually followed by a refreshing visit to the beer garden.

Sign up sheet says the next game is sunday, but the lastest messages seem to indicate saturday?

Last weekend we managed to get a 4 vs 4 game of touch going. The game was used to mostly demonstrate how out-of-shape we've become over winter

Wasn't able to make it last time, but I should definately be there this time around. Also... looking forward, if we manage to make this a weekly occurance, my brother and a friend will be visiting next weekend so I will provide two more players as well.

I hope to make it out as well, am new to Toytown, interested to see there's another Philly guy in the house...

Heh, I always was a soccer person in the US, but I think I'd enjoy a game... I might even bring a guest.

I second the notion that football is all weather. You will see me there rain or shine... Softer ground = laying out for passes and doing mudslides.

darn you moved it to saturdays, was looking forward to dragging a few people out on sunday, and saturdays are already comitted with hashing.

A good turn up today, I guess about 10 peeps showed up even with the rain. It was really frustrating to sprain my damn leg just on arrival. Next time maybe it'll work better. The beer at the empty beer garden under the rain was a first timer. It was a good game all in all.

Unfortunately I won't be able to make it this Saturday because of work, but I hope you guys carry it on... I will definitely return next Saturday ready to play and make my weekly contribution to the Munich beer gardens.

Can't make it this weekend either, moving out. Next weekend on I'm game. But may I say sundays would be better? Just a thought.

If everyone would rather go Sunday evenings, maybe 5 or 6, we could do that. Whatever the majority wants. It just seemed before that Sundays have so many things going on within TT that you would be competing against alot of other functions.

Unfortunately it is not looking as though ew have enough numbers for a solid game. I'm heading out for a bit, but unless we gather some more interest, I may have to respectfully bow out this time around and hope we get more next time...

Is anyone up for playing or at least tossing it around on Saturday? This weekend would be good because next weekend is a long one and there might be a few people out of town (including me).

I'll put my name on the sign-up sheet and see if I can get ball rolling.

BTW, I have a ball, just in case any of the other ball owners can't make it.

I think I can play, would be willing to make it to definite but don't think it makes sense to unless there's some more chatter/sign-ups seeming like it might happen, realistically I think we need 6 at an absolute minimum for a decent game (with 8 being good), but not close right now, if we don't get there in the next few hours this afternoon I wouldn't think that number could happen. Would definitely like to see this revived, the one time I came a few weeks back, in the rain (as appears might be a good possibility this weekend), it was clearly a good time had by all. From talking to people seems like there's interest... I'd also be willing to try for Sunday if more people could make it, maybe we could get more commitments for this weekend with weather not looking as good for frisbee, then go from there as far as picking a more permanent day/time to aim for in the future when we're all in one place.

If the weather is decent, I'll try to come along.

Judging by the nature of the posts (nobody was 100%) and the questionable weather, I think I'm gonna pass today. ( I don't want to be the only one who shows up - like 3 weeks ago).

I'm alway up for it, but for all the touch football threads, posts and sign up sheets, we've played only a couple of times. There are few people who are willing to come no matter what the interest, but most won't come unless they see at least 6 or 8 people on the sign up sheet.

I'm gonna be out of town until early september, but would love to play again in the fall. Maybe we can have some games on sunday evenings and then head to the Arc for the early NFL kickoffs (At least until we have to set the clocks back).

September is here the weather is brisk the NFL and College seasons are underway and the CFL is nearing the halfway mark...who wants to play some football?
