Rail connections to Tegel Airport

Hi All,
Does anyone know which train station, that has lockers, is closest to Tegel? I'll be arriving in Berlin in mid May and am looking forward to joining you guys for drinks.

There isn't a direct train service. Your stuck on taking the normal Bus or the Express Bus. The first SBahn stop (on the xpress Bus) is only 4 stops from the Airport
(BeusselStr) and puts you on the "Sbahn ring" (S41/42). Or you can stay on the Express bus and go all the way into town and get off at one of the bigger
stations (Berlin Hbf, Zoologischer Garten or AlexanderPlatz) It all depends on where your going. A Map Of the network can be found Here (PDF) and the Pricing

I'm pretty sure that Zoologischer Garten, on the X9 express bus, as well as Berlin Hauptbahnhof and Alexanderplatz, both on the TXL express bus, have lockers. Which is the best option probably depends on where the drinks are. (E.g., Alexanderplatz is farthest from Tegel, but if we're meeting in Prenzlauer Berg, it may be most efficient to take the TXL bus all the way to Alex, ditch your stuff, and take the U2 to drinks.) http://www.s-bahn-berlin.de/fahrplanauskun...en&modul=m1 is useful for sorting out the transit connections to an address.

Thanks, jtw! As much as I'd like to meet ya'll for drinks right away, I suspect most of you will be at work when I arrive at noon. If I'm wrong though, let me know. lol The reason for the locker is to ditch my luggage while tracking down the key to a friend's apartment. A liquid lunch sounds much more fun...
