Great day! The chili's were great, I am sure the judges had a hard time deciding which one was the best! I had a particular favourite which filled my tummy so much, it was not even the winner's chili!
Congrats to the winner! Your name will be on the cup!

Thanks as well for organising from over here. I came second on the cookie side of things.
I really liked your cookies Jenny L, very nice touch there with the red toes. The chilis were great, my favourite was the cookers award, the tasmanian chili or somat it was called. Really good.
Will definitely cook a chili for next year. Cheers to all who took part.

Loved it, great day out.
Jenny's cookies were fun and a special mention should go to her co-chef Olivia i believe.
Loved the chili and unlike last year there was more than plenty to go around.
No18 especially deserves a mention for resulting in me losing all feeling in my lips.

Had a great time. Lovely venue, great chili. My favorite didn't win, but then again, neither did my cookies. I even lost at fussball! Ah well. Still had a great time. Pictures to follow soon.

Aww, see what happens when you swear off TT for a few weeks!
I thought this was going to be in August.
Maybe we'll have to host the Autumn cook off up here in Nuremberg when the weather turns to Chili time again.
Glad you guys had fun.

Thanks to all who came around yesterday and made yesterday great. A HUGE thank you to Richard, who organized the entire event this year and will be taking over from me for future cookoffs. I feel very good with the cookoff in his hands! Maybe not all of you realized that we were raising money for Klinik Clowns. As soon as we get over our chili hangovers, we'll publish the amount we raised for them.
My personal "anal regret" award goes to the "Sudden Death Sauce" being passed around yesterday. Over-confident in my spicy-food-eating abilities, I loaded up a chip with the stuff. After my breathing stopped for a few seconds and the subsequent hiccupping episode, I realized that this sauce is truly evil.
Best wishes to all of you. I will miss Munich and the cookoff, but flights from London aren't too steep... See you around.
A great time again, as always, though sometimes the weather really plays along! See you all next year! Well, some of you I'll see sooner than that...

Apologies to Sarabyrd who I had promised that I would be there but stuff came up that I could not get out of this weekend (Tyrone winning the Ulster championship was part of it). It looks like you had a great birthday and the pics from Keydeck are great.

Thank you, sweetheart! Only the lack of loved ones and others kept the day from being complete.

Hi Everyone, I just thought I would let you know that after expenses we are looking at having over 150 Euros to contribute to "The Klinik Clowns", but BEFORE we take them the Cheque, is there anyone else out there wishing to
1) Buy an Official 8th Munich Chili Cookoff T-Shirt (10 Euro's each...)
2) Original Artwork (ok ok...the posters I put together)...(2 Euros each)
3) The T-Shirt Logo (Iron on so you can put it on anything you fancy) (5 Euro's each).
We are lucky enough this year to have covered the production costs so EACH AND EVERY PENNY you contribute will go to Charity.
Many thanks for your time, your effort and your support.
