Hi all!
Here in Germany the first of may (so the day before is the 30th of april ) is really well celebrated. But if you have nothing to do, or if your only idea is to go to check some clubs, try this massive crowded student party in my student house. Last time we did a great party it was for Fasching (carnival) and there were something like 1000 people!!
It starts at 19, also if I don't expect so many people before 21. But hurry up, cause last year (when I didn't already lived there) I tried to step in at 23-24, but there was a too long queue at the entrance.
5 euro to get in and then cocktails and beer at student price!
You will be pretty drunk at the end...

ah yeah, i was forgetting the address... massmann wohnheim, heßstrasse 77 (near "eat the rich"), close to the theresienstrasse metro station on the u2 or also to a station of the tram 20/21 (don't remember which one)

Me and some of my choice gringo numbers are gonna hit this place...and hard. Have been to this for the last 2 years and can just reiterate the words of Mr Jimb0 that you will be [s]pretty [/s]completely and utterly drunk at the end! Last men standing win a free beer off Ingo the gringo. I won one last year but spilt more on my shirt than down my throat. Not to be missed this one...

Think they let the 30+ crowd in?

Hey Oma, perhaps we can go together, you can make me look a bit younger. Shall I wear my fro?
I'm still feelin' under the weather from the weekend:

strangest thing witnesssed: bumped into Cosmopolit at 089 at 4a.m. we both stood in awe as "Some girl was giving a guy at the bar a lap dance while her top opened up and gave us a free show. Then she just sorta fixed her top, got up and walked off. the guy fixed his pants (ahem) and went in the other direction. No further eye-contact. reminded me of a quickie you might see at the Baboon cage at the zoo."

Also: The Chinese Girl I had with me: was constantly getting talked to by guys who just point blankly said, "I'd like to take you home with me..." It was stunning to me that guys have such gaul to try a line like that. must work on someone - perhaps at that hour.

Is anything else going on besides the Hexen night at the medieval fair? (That sounds ok, but have already seen the market) There must be something for the over 30s but under 60s crowd...

EDIT : ok, found one.. This thread can now be resumed by the cool people.
