Bikram Yoga studio in Charlottenburg - Berlin

I normally travel across town to the Kreuzberg studio, which I love (and is much closer to me than the Mitte or Potsdam locations), but I would be able to go much more frequently if the Charlottenburg studio rumored to be 'Coming Soon Aug 2006' on the official Bikram website would ever get around to becoming a reality. I've contacted the Bikram people in the US twice and never heard anything back.

They are all separate franchises, so the Kreuzberg people don't know, or claim not to know what the scoop is. I've done plenty of searches online, and found nothing about it! Since Bikram teachers have to speak English, I thought someone here might have a clue. Did the Charlottenburg location turn to Potsdam instead, perhaps?

Fribble, does the Kreuzberg studio have rugs on the floor or do they have wooden floors? and what's the address?

It's located about 100 meters from the Mehringdamm U-Bahn station, and the old studio was carpeted. I assume the new one, which opened July? August? is carpeted, too, though I haven't had a chance to see it, yet.

nein, the new studio is not carpeted, its really really nice with wood floors and a comfortable, modern changing room. theres also a bikram studio in mitte that i tried out , too, it was okay but i find the people at the merhingdammm studio are nicer. i go there sometimes but would love to find one in charlottenburg, (closer to work) too, so if anyone hears something, do post!

There is a fantastic yoga studio in Charlottenburg that offers a series of yoga classes, including hot bikram yoga.
