We have a bit of an unusual situation; we (me, American; he, German) are marrying in a Lutheran church in a small country outside of Germany in just several weeks, by a pastor in that other country who has the service text in English and in his local language, but does not have the service text in German and frankly doesn't seem terribly motivated to track it down, though he does speak far more German than even I do, and half our guests speak English, half German, with little cross-over. We're having trouble locating the exact text, any text, especially as my fiance was actually supposed to be raised Catholic (long story), and his parents (mother is lutheran, father catholic) were married in a Catholic service and immediately thereafter became completely lapsed. We do, incidentally, have the Catholic version in German and the Lutheran version in English, in case anyone needs it.
There are many resources online for getting the general flow of the service, but specific texts are always missing; I imagine it's for a good reason. Does anyone know of a place online where I might find this? It would be vastly better for us to have it in an electronic version, but beggars can't be choosers.
Thank you for reading!
