Dinner at Marrakech, Schwabing

Hello couscous lovers - who fancies going for a Moroccan dinner Thursday week?
(Marrakech do have things other than couscous too)

Ooh, I do like couscous - sounds good. I'd definitely be interested.

Went there a couple of weeks back with chaps from work, food was good just don't confuse the lemons in the chicken tagine for yellow peppers!

now don't all go breaking the door down . I'm fine to go with a small group too if there's not much interest...they do also have seating outside (in case the summer comes back), although probably the only for a smaller group...at the moment that's no problem!

Moroccan food is by the way extremely tasty..lots of spice combinations like cinnamon with meat, (as already mentioned) lemon in the rice...and the place has a good reputation.

Impatient? Me? Fuck, no. But as those of you who have attended either of my Thai dinners (or both of them; you know who you are, Mr. J.) will appreciate, this is as spontaneous as my planning gets.

That said, I will agree to change it to miss cous-cous if you can come up with as large a range of profile pictures for a couscous as for a volatile volcano.

Funny. I just cooked a Moroccan dinner with couscous at home. It was damn good too.

Couscous, so good they named it twice. I think I've had this before, at Sarabyrds birthday bash last year I think, so I may be able to force myself to come! I have to settle a few things first before I can commit, but I think it's possible. Maybe.

PS Arabesk on Kaulbachstr. is a great place; nicest staff, lovely atmosphere and yummy food. Don't know any other Moroccan (OK so it's Arabian but I had food very similar to the food I had in Morocco too) place in Munich so looking forward to trying this one.

Yeah, it's a bummer - got too much on next week after all and Thurs. is the only night I'll have to pack my bags for the long weekend! Will have to try it out another time...really do like the couscous...

As for Lurker Mark - I can't believe he's actually committing to something...well even "maybe" committing seems quite an achievement for him

great Allershausen...so sing all my fingers and toes (and something else for good measure) I got to 11 confirmed, plus sarabyrd and scogs partially confirmed, plus jeeves, coolerking, as yet unconfirmed, and LM not remotely confirmed..

so guess I'll tell the restuarant to go for 15-20, and that'll give us a bit of Luft for a couple of extras.
