BBC News: Einstein proved right again

QUOTE
Early results from a Nasa mission designed to test two key predictions of Albert Einstein show the great man was right about at least one of them.
It will take another eight months to determine whether he got the other correct say scientists analysing data from Nasa's Gravity Probe B satellite.

Awesome! Not only was the geezer a Patent Clerk here in Munich, and a shagmonster extraordinaire, but he was a bit hot on the old mathematical equations to boot.

Yeah and he also diplayed the ability to use his brain without being influenced by the predominant / mainstream opinion in more then purely scientific issues:Why Socialism

And for the record: He was a dedicated anti-militarist and anti-imperialist , and chances are that he would have detested to be used as a propaganda figurehead for this Germany like he was during the Einstein year. Thats what made him leave Germany for the US after all.

So, his major failing would appear to be a very dodgy haircut and an even dodgier tash (unless it was used for 'you-know-what'). I suppose we can't all be perfect, but I liked the geezer anyway.

Don't forget, he married his cousin too.

Yepp, must've been a pretty decent guy. And considering the haircut: well, Punk wasnt officially invented back than so he had to work with what he could come up with hmself happy.gif

Seriously - that haircut is definetly an ancestor of the common Iro - just without the shaving part wink.gif
Captain Ridiculous!
I think it was just a lucky guess!
