Hiking in Garmisch on Saturday 21.Apr.2007

hello everyone, just to let you know that there will be a hike to Garmisch this saturday the 21st of April.
We are going to meet infront of the information centre(the one located outside the station near the muller bread shop) at 9:00am and then get the 9:30 train to Garmisch and probably the 6:00pm train back- giving us about 7 hours hiking (the train trip is 1 and a half hours by the way).
Remember that you will need some good hiking shoes, LOTS of water, plenty food, and just in case a water proof jacket. (also a warm jumper or jacket as it does get cold at altitude)
If you are interested in coming, please let me know as soon as possible.

hi, if you want to leave early thats no problem! you might not be able to get to the top of the mountain though!

I guess you have a specific route in mind? Hmmmm. I'll have to think about it. I committed to a party Sat. night, to which I have to be on time. If I left the hike early, I remembered, then I'd have to buy another ticket back to MUC...

I do have a specific route in mind, but If everyone would like to do another one thats fine. If you have a party to attend it could be a little tight coming back from Garmisch. Its your call!

hello everyone, its still not too late to come to hiking tomorrow. If you would like to come just send me an email by tonight or come to the Hauptbanhoff by 9:00am. We are meeting infront of the information centre at the front of the station(outside) which is very near the muller bread shop.
