Translations for "action statement" into German

Any ideas?

It's me again, seems like I have some translation work coming my way, mostly it's labeled proofreading but I end up doing it all over again from scratch because the official translator should really be shot not be paid for what he does but pay people for reading his crap sad.gif

Part one of this post:
How would you translate action statement into German? I know, I should ask this question in a forum full of German native speakers, but I have and the result was, to put it mildly, unsatisfactory.

So here's part two of this post:
Do you know any web sites (forums) that offer good translation advice? My favourite so far is TT, but I don't want to become a nuisance - or more so than I already am ph34r.gif - by posting stupid translation questions all the time.

And part three:
It's ridiculous. Neither English nor German are really my native language, but I find myself unwittingly in a translator position. Client pays and won't listen to reason (the original translator is family somehow, whatever).
So I'm thinking about outsourcing the translation bit. Don't know how much of it will come my way. Cannot pay loads. But what I can do is recommend whoever wants to give it a try. If I'm happy with the translations and the deadline-keeping, I'll spread the word. So maybe if you're just starting out at the translation thing, you might want to drop me a pm. I'll send you some sample text, you give me a quote, we take it from there.

Hi, I've only just seen this. If you've not had any other "takers", I'd be prepared to let my grey cells loose on it, but I'd need the context! If I ever get stuck, I try leo.org, but I don't suppose I'm recommending anything there you don't know already...

Yeah, what is the context?

And I would have also suggested the LEO.org forums.

For starters: The implicit advert is officially closed, many thanks to all who got in touch directly via PM.

Leo is of course a blessing and a curse - so much information, so many missing and/or incorrect translations.

My new job as a translator has thank God been outsourced by now. I'd still like to find a forum for translators, not like leo where you can add your pearls of translation wisdom at a whim. More like a place where people have to properly register and state their native language and are possibly even rated by other members of the forums regarding the quality of their advice. Just a dream, I know.
