Pre-party Drinks for those WITHOUT Tix

Seeing as there are a couple of us who don't have tickets for the fete tomorrow, I was thinking we could meet up for a couple of drinks before we head over to Harpers & Queens at 11.

Any suggestions as for a venue to meet up at? Maybe around Sendlingerstr. since that's where H&Q is.

Canuck is organising a meet up for eats.. maybe PM for details..

I finish my German at 8.45 so I will meet you guys then. Dont really know the bars round here.

Oh how nice!!! I love that place! Anyone up for that? It would have to be a small crowd though since that place is pretty small.

It's not that small, it's just not condusive to group seating. If you go around behind the bar, to the west rooms, it's a bit better there. I'll see you when you get to the party.

I'll join for the pre-drinks. I have other dinner plans already, so I'll join after that... I don't really mind where, Kilians sounds good (it's not that far away from the party as well )

yeah, but that's for a pre-party meet up to head to H&Q when the party starts or a little later, so in case you do have a ticket.

But Cafe Glockenspiel is a nice place indeed, i'll be in H&Q by that time though.

do u wanna go to glockenspiel? the only thing about that is it's more of a calm cafe coffee place, i just thought of that after i posted it (yes i know i'm all over the place and can't make up my mind). is Kilians cool with you? we can sit outside if it's warm.

Wow, pre party dinners, pre-drink drinks etc etc People seem to be getting pretty excited about all this. I should be up for a few drinks in kilians - though that depends on my cold - I'm ALWAYS ill when Ed Bob organises an event, and this is no exception...

I'll come along. Would rather it was at the Arc though - less crowded, less smokey, and cheaper beer. I suppose we could always turn it into a bit of a crawl if it gets too packed, though.

The thing about Kilians is it's down the street from H&Q where the party will take place. See you tonight!!

Given the state of the weather though, kilians is a lot closer to H&Q...and my german lessons.

Ah, okay, well I'm not planning to go to H&Q afterwards. I didn't even realise you could get in without a ticket - I thought the thread title was just a tongue-in-cheek response to the other pre-drinks thread (i.e., just a regular piss-up for those not going to the party).

I will try to make it to Kilians, although a bit later than 8pm.

Not sure if I'll be there or not now chaps and chappesses as I still feel like part of me died in the night...have a good night anyway.
