Hi guys,

I just thought I'd let you know about my neighbor. He's a qualified mechanic that does repairs out of his home. He speaks English and can work on cars, motorcycles, or bikes. He's a nice guy and has done a few things for me (always perfect repairs). He'll negotiate a good price on anything you need done.

PM me if you want his contact info.

great to know...thanks. My car was in the garage so often last year, infact they kept it for 5 weeks at one stage!
I don't know whether or not it really took them that long to fix it, or it was just because they enjoyed driving it around Nürnberg.

Yes I have an English car and yes, that means the steering wheel is on the right-hand side...but I have no problem with it but most of Nürnberg do, to them I have just arrived from a different planet! blink.gif ...it gets rather boring after 4 years.

About the RHD cars, is it not at all awkward driving on the right side of the car in a LHD country?

I only ask because I'm looking at buying a Jag xk150 from the UK and that was my only concern. I was actually wondering if it would put you at a safety disadvantage, especially considering the crazy german drivers.
