Hi All!
I'm headed out of town in a little over a week and the person supposed to watch my husky has to go into the hospital for surgery. As a result, they can't watch him.
Any suggestions on dog boarding kennels in/around Berlin? (I don't have a car so... it needs to be something I can get to relatively easy.)
Note that my German is rather poor, so I have tried searching but not had much luck. (I did find the thread for munich/stuttgart.)
Alternative - any Toytowners want to watch him for the 10 days?
(Insert gratuituous photo of my pup)
Thanks!

You'll probably get this a lot, and I know it's no help, but I'd take him in a second if I had room at my place and time to run him a bit. Especially with the weather starting to turn... I miss having a dog.
Good luck though

It's ok - I may have found someone. It is only for 10 days though - so it's not like it's gonna be forever. (I couldn't give my sweety pup up forever.)

Yeah I know - I just love that I was told 10 days before I am leaving!!
On the bright side, I did find someone so he's gonna be well taken care of while I'm gone.

Any assistance in locating a reliable kennel to board a small beagle would be appreciated. Must fly back home and leave the puppy here.

Rose:
We are not exactly sure. Its my daughter's dog, she lives on Putbusser Strasse and recently had elbow surgery. We are waiting to see when her rehab will start. When it is underway for 2-3 weeks, we want to bring her back to the USA for evaluation by a specialist. As a result the dog would have to be boarded for about 3 weeks in the Berlin area.
Thank you for your interest, will keep you posted

Hi, I need somebody to take care of my small, paper-trained and non-aggressive dog for 2 months. I'm not rich but I can afford to pay something and of course pay for food as well. My dog is very endearing and loving. It's an emergency. Can you please post here if you can offer any help or advice at all. Possibly even include your Skype info. Thank you.

Hi Rose... I was reading through old posts (I am a new member) and saw your message about your dog. Obviously you have already had your trip, but I just wanted to introduce myself as I also have a dog and would always be willing to baby sit in the future (Savannah loves sleepovers!)... also, my husband posted a request for dog sitting to his students once and we had like 5 people calling within hours , so I have some good resources. Let me know if you ever need help or if you ever want to have a doggy play date (I'm a dork, I know!)... Jen

Hi All! My husband and I are searching for someone to take care of our two dogs from June 14- 16. The kennel that we have used before is all booked for that weekend. Does anyone have any suggestions or know anyone who could take two dogs for a weekend? Thanks!

DESPARATE FOR A DOG LOVER! My boyfriend and I are going out of town next week and our dog sitter is now changing her plans on us. We have a wonderful spoiled German Shepherd who is not used to being alone since we moved here so we need someone that can come and stay at our house with her full time. We are looking for someone minimum from 9am-5pm on Thursday the 8th of May and Friday the 9th, but would also be happy if someone is interested in coming on the 8th at 9am and staying until Sunday night when we get back. We live in
Steglitz near Dahlem and the Botanical Gardens. If you know of anyone that would be interested please let me know. Thanks
Thanks to everyone who responded to my add on the other page. I think my doggy is all set now! Thanks again!
