Next Friday San and myself will both be leaving Munich until the start of the Oktoberfesten so we had the idea to go for some Sushi & Sake on Wednesday (September 1st).
The idea is to go to
Fuji, since
last time the sushi there was very good. And with an all-you-can-eat for €19,- it really is a cheap place to eat sushi. We intend to go there around 19:00 or so, then we'll have plenty of time to really get all we can eat

.
Who's up for some chopstick practice?

VDB
Aug 25 2004, 12:31 pm
@chewy - it's not only sushi but also other food that you normally eat in combination with sushi. And you can also order from the menu, so i don't think it should be a problem.
@Toronto - yep, really exist even in Munich

@ Toronto Akakiko in Amalienstrasse (Schwabing) is also very good, they also have things like grilled, marinated king prawns.. yum yum!

Akakiko is a terrible place for sushi, don't do it! Go to Odai, further down Schellingstr. or Tokami on Theresienstr.

Not all the "sushi" is made with fish - you can get them with cucumber, avocado, beans, and probably a few other different vegetables. They'll probably also do noodles with a meat-free sauce.

if you're really looking for the very closest stop, put the address into
MVV München --

m means Munich, put your address in, and hit "suchen" -- you'll get all the transfers etc. English version coming soon.
Mine looked like this:

@ chewy..
Is this experiment a scientific one, or just for fun?
From some of the pictures I have seen, It would appear that you are trying to level out the Boobs to Brain ratio...
Am I right?

Its an inclined plane tracking and erosion resistance test on HVOT samples, and i dont fancy putting my breasts in there. Maybe we could put part of gideons body in there thu
<evil laugh>
@canuck - yes, last time there was ice cream, i think they did that specially for the canadians visiting the place

.

Wait! Is this the vanilla ice cream where they sprinkle green power on top and fry it? cause that stuffs damn good!
don't remeber, but I guess you can see for yourself tonight
chewy
Sep 1 2004, 10:16 am
@ VDB,
HVOT is High voltage insulating and non traacking tubing, as for eating it, well the samples are currently effectively being electricuted for 5+hrs, so... i think u might turn into uncle fester from the aadams family, (for those that dont know, he'd put a light bulb in his mouth and it would turn on).
could be an intresting experiment thu!!!
@chewy - Hey, electrocution is a proper way of cooking food. I rember back at the uni they used to grill sausages through electrocuting as a kind of promotion stunt.
