Well, it also says there are 260 active members, while 78 females plus 142 males only add up to 220. So, I guess the remaining 40 didn't specify a gender, and perhaps those are all female…?

but i wonder how many girls told the truth about their age? me thinks the ratio of 20's to 30's is probably biased!

The
TT active members page has now been updated to include graphical representations of the age, gender, and nationality statistics.
Remember, these statistics only include those members who have
updated their profiles appropriately.

Thanks to a certain TT member who wishes to remain anonymous for writing the code to do this.

The poor helpless German minority on TT is still being ignored, it seems...
How many Norwegians does 0.0% represent?

Are there really that many people over the age of 50? I was looking at the stats last week and remember seeing only a small number of people listed as 50+.
And what does 'other' mean?

Editor Bob, how come the Dutch are not listed? Are we to be ignored? :-(

Not everyone gives their year of birth.
If you looked at my profile you'd expect me to be a doddering old fool sat at home sucking on Werthers Originals waiting for my imminent telegraph from the Queen...
I expect the "other" gender are people who haven't specified one way or t'other.

Will madam require the carriage this evening or will she be in the parlour taking in the wireless?

There are also a lot of people who enter nonsense into their profiles. I would bet that most of the people over 50 are claiming to be centenarians.

my advanced age (99 and counting) is obviously one of the reasons I'm so keen on the quiz - in my day we had to make our own entertainment
