Is the country becoming more tolerant?

According to the attached report, Germany is changing is asylum laws to be more accommodating towards long-term refugees.

They are being told that they have to attend language courses and "intergration" courses though, or face "unspecified consequences".

Personally I feel that this is the correct course for the government to take in so much as knowing the basics of a language will help and understanding the culture that you have chosen to live in will help them in their new life.

So they've finally realised that the Germans won't do the rubbish jobs that a Schwarzarbeiter will do and making them legal will boost the economy? Spain did it two years ago.

We'll have Sunday opening next.

they also have to find a job by 2009 in order to get their permanent visa.

And follow the madness that is Sunday - and life in general - in the UK?... God forbid that this will happen, for any reason!
