Pregenancy visit visas

Hi ALL,

I am a indian and i am in germany now,i am pregenant now and want to call my mother from india,Can anyone please provide suggestion on how i get the visa?.

one of my friend say visit visa is for visiting tourist site and not for pregenancy at all,so sometime they reject Is it SO?

did anyone experienced this?

I think your mother will have to get a regular visitor's visa to come. That should be a lot easier to get than a visa for her to come as a resident via being a family member. But to be honest, I'm not certain, maybe someone else will be ableo to provide more information.

Your mother can apply and get the visa. She will get a tourist visa because there is no other category for the reason of visit.
You can get a Verpflichtungserklärung ( sponsorship letter) from the local Rathaus and send it to your mother.
She can submit it along with other documents to get her visa.

I'm sure the website of the German Embassy in India will have all the information that you require.
