I went through a huge amount of hassle and expense getting a visa for Russia last year... the best advice I can give is go to 'Aerolink' in Schwanthalerstr 83, they specialise in getting it all sorted out. Go and see them first before shelling out on invitation letters etc etc. Good luck... we had an amazing trip, from what I remember of it...
