As it suggests, I am getting a long awaited night off all too myself to hit the town and paint it a rather subtle shade of Amaranth. So I was wondering if anyone else is keen to find a nice restaurant, a cheap bar and join me in a middle aged attempt at hedonistic excess?
The time - this Thursday anytime after 18:30pm
The place - the world is our whelk! All suggestions welcomed

Some more info about yourself and your tastes would be appropriate here. Then there is always the calendar to check out and see what is already up that you could join in on.
I already checked the calendar and there are no dining related get-togethers planned for Thursday.
As for me, I will eat pretty much anything (however Sushi is low on my list of favourites) so am open to any suggestions, was just hoping to repeat something like the Lemar experience, as my attempt to participate last week was aborted due to some seating issues :-)
One place that has been recommended to me on various occassions and I always fancied trying is Mongos (www.mongos.de). Just checked their website and it seems they just went completely smoke free!
So, does this motivate anyone for a night out of eating, drinking and good times?

Does it have to be Thursday? Because the Friday beergarden/pub thing is usually a good night out

Okay, okay...I will resign myself to a night out alone, with or without a pair of knickers to sniff and yes I am afraid Thursday is the only day I am being let out this week.
