O2 sent me a bill of 600 euro. The fault was not mine. When I made the contract I asked them to set my internet option to (price per min). Instead they set it to (price per volume). I had a bill of 500 euro just for using internet for few hours. This was done by the Saarbruecken o2 shop. Now when I call them...the lady who did this mess refuses to answer me and doesnot call me back. I dont know what to do. Is there anything similar to Ofcom(Uk) in Germany?

Go back to the shop and talk to the lady in person, she cannot ignore you if you're standing in front of her face!

There is a regulator, I forget their name now... but try and sort it with O2 first.
Face to face in the shop and if that doesn't work, letter.
Keep copies of the letters or make notes of your discussion in the shop.
I assume you had a written contract.
If they provided you with a diffferent service than you agreed on, they should refund the bill.
If however, you made the mistake, dont hold your breath for the money out of goodwill.

What is really good for this kind of problem is the Verbraucherschutzentrale, which is a consumer protection agency. Look them up in the internet.

The people you are looking for are the
Bundesnetzagentur (Formerly known as "Regulierungsbehörde für Telekommunikation und Post "). They are the ones that monitor and control the Telephone (Including the Radio Spectrum Assignments) ,post, gas, electric, and Eisenbahnen companies in Germany. The bad news is they hear this type of stuff all the time, and unless it involves many people and much higher EUR amounts, they will prob. just tell you to piss off.

Didnt you sign a contract?
If you did, and she ticked the wrong box and you didnt spot it, then I presume its your ord against hers!

Calling or visiting is no use. WRITE to them if you think you have a case (which I don't by the way. Buyer beware)

Dear All,
Does anyone know if Germany has an organisation similar to OFCOM (uk comms governing). My phone line and internet was disconnected 6 days ago and the company ALICE say its not their responsibility and dont really care. They said they would send an engineer but no-one came after i took a day off work waiting for someone. Rather frustrating especially as i have a pregnant wife at home with 2 weeks to go until birth.
I really want to complain to someone higher up! Any advice or similar experiences would be nice

Not sure if they are responsible, but you could ask the
Verbraucherzentrale. Make sure you have proof in writing from Alice though. If you don´t, just try a written complaint to Alice first, it might even do the trick.

Have a search for a clear explanation from YorkshireLad6 about the ownership of telephone lines within buildings.
It is quite possibly not Alice's fault or responsibility.

The German telecom regulator is the
Bundesnetzagentur (BNetzA).
