In the seminar, this was actually a two parter. One was the ability to look at things differently, the other was about expectations. Patients see things differently than the staff and the staff expect patients to follow orders. Twas a cool tool.

I only just now figured out that you had to highlight the black stuff to see the letters -- I was wondering what was wrong with me, and in which clinic I should be admitted...

Well I didn't even figure that our Ruthie, but at least I saw 6 "fs" where I come from "f" words are common so not really a challenge to pick them out. But I don't mind being branded a genius, well at least in one field.
