The EU today have "opened up" the skies... More specifically across the atlantic to the states and back.
So in short, Prices will hopefully drop.. which will mean more people traveling these routes, therefore more polution!
Whats your take on Air travel, polution and making it cheaper to polute the planet?

My take on this is unsurprisingly rather partisan, more people who fly means more sales to airlines means more work for aerospace engineers.

I think you'll find the skies won't be "open" for at least a few years...

It's money if it was a free bid.
Trans Atlantic is profitable. Combine it with European connections...
BA has it culturally. We'll see if they can make it.
They are c***S to their staff mind.

the staff are being c***s themselves at the moment. Have you see the absence rate amongst BA (especially cabin crew) and the type of excuses they come up with for not working?

The deal isn't really fair to European carrierers which makes me angry as it means I have to pay higher domestic prices. However, I think the EU probably shouldn't let best stand in the way of better on this way - it will be an improvement, not just as large of one as I had hoped.

The biggest problem I had as a non European Union citizen was that i had to get a transit visa from UK every time i wanted to go over Britain. They recently changed this policy but still Copenhagen or Amsterdam serves me fine

While one part of the EU is busy trying to get countries to reduce their pollution emissions, another is ensuring that there'll be plenty of empty seats flying back and forth over the Atlantic.

the staff are being c***s themselves at the moment.
The alternative is the business practices of that c*** from Ryanair and his cohorts who have the cabin crew on a fiver an hour or summat.
