Blimey Charlie! Is she really worth 57€ ?
Saturday
OH YEAH, HELL YEAHHH ...
as Cansei de ser Sexy is the support, so I'm trying to convince myself .. 20 for CSS and 37 for Gwen unsure.gif reasonable no?
UrbanAngel
Ooh I'd go just to watch the support band, though Gwenni ain't bad either.
berny
jaysus. id go to see css, but id be out of there like a shot as soon as theyre offstage.

unless gavin rossdale was there, id have to go have words with him.

fucking gwen stefani. fucks sake.
Hannasaara
I thought it could be cool to go to a big concert as the last stuff I've seen has been smaller gigs. Didn't know that CSS will play - fantastic!! Now it's defenitely worth the money. I still hope that Gwen Stefani will pull off an ok show though.
berny
keep your ears open for a change of venue.

its going to be in zenith more than likely.
Katrina
Yep it is in Zenith.
And the ticket sales must be awful as there's discounted tickets for Bahncard holders as well as a new 15+1 ticket: buy a ticket for someone aged 15 or under and their chaparone can go for free. Seriously.

She overpriced herself big time.
berny
the renovation of the olympiahalle is a big effort on olympiaparks part to keep concerts coming to munich.

sales for beyonce, the who and a bunch of other "huge" stars have been WAY below par in munich, and it means a lot of tours just dont book munich.

theyre improving the loading situation massively which will lower costs and time needed for load ins/outs.

just need people to actually go to shows, and my jobs safe.

of course im not encouraging people to go see beyonce or gwen stefani.

well beyonce was good.
planetmoni
i think people are just not willing to spend more than 30EUR on a band unless it is a personal 'must-see'.
Katrina
Did anyone go and was it any good?
Mrs Peel
Dory went but she's more on FB than here!!
berny
i was thinking of going early to see CSS (electro rocker supportband) but in the end couldnt be bothered so i just turned up for the tear down.

it was not full. i poked my head in and had a look around, could stage the shite that was coming out of the PA, so waited outside till i was needed.

from a non fan perspective - dull.

I went with my sister and thought it was a great show considering originally I bought good seats at the Olympiahalle.

The venue though left a lot to be desired - just a big warehouse. Although that and the fact that it was not a sell-out meant we could get quite near the front.
Gwen and her whole team of dancers, musicians had a lot of talent - pity that not enough people wanted to appreciate that.

And Britney should have a chat with Gwen on how to tone her stomach after having a baby. biggrin.gif
nuwoman
I went too and found the show fabulous... the generic banter could have been spare though.

Her dancers and Band were amazing!
berny
sorry...very tired these days...and i have stages on the brain.

couldnt stand the shite coming out of the speakers...
