Berlin weekend coffee meetup

Nice idea! I am definitely in for it.

My suggestion for venue is Volkspark Friedrichhain (one of my favorite parks in Berlin). It has a BBQ area, though I am not sure if there are pre-installed BBQ grills.

I can bring some German-style (actually just my style :-)) pasta salad.

The part on Volkspark F'hain is more concerned with toilets than barbecue pits.

First feedback I got was that you have to bring your own bbq. I will verify if that is true and reply.

As an alternative we could use a couple of disposable bbqs. I have used those before and they are doing the job. €2-5 a piece is not bad.

Humm.. good idea on the disposable grills - I didn't know they existed.

Since it's now doing the whole "unwetter" thing here (I love that word); is there also someplace where we could make a mad run for cover if need be?

What happened to the rest of June?

Uh.. Um.. This is the first weekend, I have to work one of the weekends (I can't remember which one right now) and the other I think was the one in between.

I just figured that if I said the weekend before the 4th, then we could maybe get more people and get logistics figured.
