Holiday house rentals in France

Help! I need to quickly organise a holiday rental for one to two weeks in the South of France in 10 days time!

Am looking for a house or gite type setup. Does anyone have any favourite sites they could share with me? French language sites are fine.

I am still waiting for that guy that advertised his house to give us a price. It looked great, but the refusal to even mention a price made me not go anywhere near his agent's website. Did anyone else happen to get it?
