Sunday drinks and fish 'n chips - part II

Since I couldn't make the meetup on the 18th, I was interested in having a repeat meetup for next Sunday, the 25th at Molly Malone's for Fish 'n Chips. Just thought it would be something fun to do right before BadlandZ and I have to leave the country again for a bit. Also would be nice to meet more expats living here to make us feel more at home. Any takers?

BTW, I would really prefer to keep the smoking away from the table or even outside if y'all don't mind

Need to see how the on call is working out, but should be around for a few. The sunday night guniesses were a nice touch today!

Next week Sunday is still a little far away to put a definite yes, but I'll keep it in mind.

Let me make it clearer:

I understand it is a pub, but I ask that smoking in "our" party to be kept to a minimum please, as I have allergies that cause problems. I would still like to enjoy the fish and chips, so I'm willing to go into a smoky pub for a few hours to enjoy them.

There. I didn't want to go into detail, I don't want sympathy, just ask that we keep smoking at our table to a minimum, or outside. Thanks

I would be interested in Fish n Chips, haven't had em since leaving Ireland... Should I expect a dropoff in quality here?

Pls let me know the where, when, and I think I can manage the eating part myself...

As for the smoking...

I hate smoke and smoking, but I choose to go into a pub where I know there will be smoke...

What will happen if the guy on the next table lights up??

BTW, I had dinner at the Spitar, nobody else decided to join... Don't know what time y'all were there, but I was there from 20 til 2130. This time there's a reservation time, so unless I drink far too much at Paulaner Starkbierfest tommorow (which is a damn good possibility), I would expect to make it to Mollys (which is only a couple of Ubahn stops away from Knockerberg anyway).

VWSubie and BadlandZ, thank you for not only organizing this so short-term but also turning up to face the enemy. As I said, we are much nicer in the flesh than we appear on-line. It was nice seeing the old crowd and others I generally do not get to meet. And welcome, Chris in Germany.

Haha, your welcome Sara; it was a blast. I cannot make any meetups until maybe May 13th unfortunately, I'll be in Arizona until then . But when i get back, this will turn into a regular meetup hopefully. (Although BadlandZ requested it be on a Saturday with work and all)
