Very good idea DK.
I'd put myself down as a definite but unfortunately I really won't know if I could come until 6-ish anyway.
Hope you get more solid takers. It's been many years since I last went to MM and I'm keen to go back.
Cheers,

Well, it would be me and BadlandZ. We'll see if I'm up to it; been a little hard to walk lately.

I would like to join, but ordered sushi last night, and couldn't eat it all, don't think Molly's would appreciate me bringing my own fish.

A word to the wise, Mollysdeliver your fish and chips with
salad unless you ask them for beans with it.
Salad with fish n chips ffs
It's like going to Maccy D's and ordering a full fat burger and then having a guilt response and asking for a diet coke with it

I have nothing planned for dinner yet and I don't have much ingredients to fix a decent meal, so I might pop in for a bit as well.

Can we plan another outing to MM's next Sunday? Or shall I myself just invite you all again for next week?

Mar 18 2007, 9:53 pm
You can start a new thread for next week...
sarabyrd
Mar 18 2007, 9:56 pm
VWSubie, watch out with "invite"! In Germany that tends to mean that you will foot the bill. But feel free to organize a meetup, that commits you to nothing except posting time, place and any special requirements in the proper forum.

Hi All,
now that was fun. Glad I was able to make it.
Well done DK for implementing your inspired idea.
Next week - I hope so.

In all seriousness though, how did you all recognize each other? Next week will be my husband and I's first TT Meetup (hopefully if people come!) so we don't know ANYONE!

Why not call up Mollies, and do a Reservation for 1800 (They do get crowded, esp. on game days). Get there 10 min early and wait for the others to roll in and find you..
You started the 2nd event, so by default you are the coordinator

Make the Reservation under the name "TT Fish'n Chips".. Everybody that goes asks for this table.

Just had a thought, might be too obvious, but I'm not sure.
If I call on the phone, will someone at MM's speak english???
Darkknight
Mar 18 2007, 11:55 pm
Seeing as it's an Irish Pub... i'm pretty sure they will/do
VWSubie
Mar 19 2007, 12:06 am
Ok. I just seem to have this aversion to calling any business number in Germany so far...I'm afraid I'll get stuck with someone who doesn't speak english!
