Just chatting with another TTer about this
Friday's Cocktail Night at Negroni and it occurred to me that we need to invent a TT cocktail that we can export to the world, well, Munich at least and Germany in general.
Now my preference would be a TTT, Toytown Tequila Tester or something equally trite but i'm sure there are some amateur or semi pro cocktail meisters on here somewhere that could come up with a more convincing mix that we can educate the bars and cocktail houses of Munich and Germany to master?
Any ideas anyone for a scintillating mixture that encapsulates the mood and feisty nature that Toytown is?
I'll buy the first round of the new TT Cocktail on friday should anyone come up with a workable and suitably alcoholic new gargle.

I think anything with Absinth in is good, and generally 'flaming' to get the effect!
Chase bars in the UK sell 'Flaming Homers' as seen on Simpson’s, without the cough syrup and with Absinth, does the trick and the harden drinkers can inhale the gasses after for that extra head rush.

Oh I miss the student life (sure my liver doesn’t).

try this:
vodka
white rum
dark rum
pineapple juice
lime juice
ginger ale
a dash of coke
I call this a "
Barry Island Ice Tea"

I think the TT cocktail should be strongly based on the Bloody Mary- full of fire (vodka), blood (tomato juice), spice of life (tobasco) and all that. Restaurants and pubs would probably call it "Bloody Hell- the TTers have arrived".

Equal parts:
Rumple Minz
Jagermeister
Goldschlager
underlie with mixture of Creme De Minth and cream.
That should knock your socks off.

How about a cocktail in which the ingredients all begin with "T", I'll start the list:
Tequila
Triple Sec
Tonic
Tomato Juice
Tobasco
When we have a complete list of ingredients (by tomorrow 12:00), we could then start inventing the drinks in time for friday.

i don't think names of drinks or spirits should be part of the name as there are too many different tastes and opinions on what is the best drink. will think today of a witty name (still too early to be creative)

@planetmoni: we could include brandnames beginning with "T", that would more or less cover anyones taste!

If you're all making the cocktail night a regular event, I'm sure if you put the request in with the bar themselves, they will invent one for you. Get them to come up with two or three and then pick your winner.
A bit of a bastardisation of my fav, but how about the...
TIT - Toytown Ice Tea.
Pretty strong and the nice blue colour is in fitting with the forum.
20 ml gin
20 ml vodka
20 ml white rum
20 ml Cointreau
20 ml blue curacao
Fill with Lemonade
Give's a taste of your TIT
Now that would certainly get the night going!

I'm liking your thinking Lions, free cocktails under the auspices of "testing".

Mix the following:
Add 3 parts of information to one part trivia and gossip.
Add a large splash of humour
Add a splash of bile (can be omitted if preferred).
Sprinkle with conviviality.
Pour over crushed egos and ice cold wit.
Garnish with nuts and fruity banter.
Best Served well chilled.

On the point of (new) cocktails, has anyone ever heard of the "BMW"?
2 Parts Baileys
1 Part Malibu
1 Part Whisky (ordinary blended is fine and certainly don't use a peated whisky)
I am assured it is very morish, goes down extremely well but is very lethal.
