You've probably seen the posters already. They're displayed absolutely everywhere throughout Munich. BUGA is the "Bundesgartenschau", the German national garden festival. It takes place every two years and in 2005 it comes to Munich. You might not be interested in flowers, plants, or even vegetables, but apparently lots of people are. In fact, organisers are expecting 4 million people to attend. So you might as well take note of what the Buga is, how long it lasts, and what there is to see. Then you can quietly forget about it at your leisure. Today is the pre-opening day for journalists. So expect to read a lot more in tomorrow's press. The public opening is 28th April.
