There's a Woody Allen quite different from the one we've seen in films since the 1960s, and to discover him you need to be in Munich on Saturday, 31st July 2004. Did you know that Woody Allen plays the clarinet in his arrangement The New Orleans Jazz Band? They usually play nightly in Manhattan to sold out crouds. Two years ago the band made special recordings at sold out shows in Rome and Paris. This year it is Toytown's turn. The performance takes place at the Prinzregententheater. If you're eager to see him you will have to pay a whopping €124,20 to €247,40 (front or balcony seats). He's performed publicly in Manhattan on Mondays for a quarter century and the music created, which is just now attracting worldwide acclaim, would be worthy of attention even if a star like Allen weren't involved.
