Oscars night - Munich

The Academy Awards Night (a.k.a. The Oscars) takes place this Sunday in Los Angeles. The ceremony will be broadcast live on Pro 7. Munich's Cinemaxx at Isartor will be showing it on the big screen. The Cinemaxx night starts at 10.30pm. First they'll show some of the award nominated movies: possibly The Aviator, Sideways, and Million Dollar Baby (exact schedule unknown). After the movies there is a cabaret act, a pre-award party and, at 3am, the live broadcast of the ceremony. Tickets at €10 can be bought via tickets.t-online.de. At time of writing about 1/3 of the tickets are still remaining.

Does anyone know where it is possible,
in Munich, to see the Oscars in English?

Yes. At home via satellite.

Actually if you watch it live on Pro 7 it will be in english without German dubbing. It's only when they do the highlights show that they dub it into German.
