Oh dear! It's all death and suicide in Toytown this morning. But tragic as any suicide is, this one's pretty funny: the TZ Online tells of a woman who jumped out of a 3rd floor window onto Munich's Lindwurmstrasse at 7pm yesterday evening. She landed on top of a man who was unlucky enough to be walking by at the time. She survived. He didn't. Now she's being charged with manslaughter. Doh! Secondly, remember we talked a few weeks ago about Munich U/S-Bahn suicides? Well, this morning the Munich S-Bahn Blog is complaining how the S5 at Haar is incessantly delayed by people inconsiderate enough to jump during rush hour. Apparently the S-Bahn at Haar is a veritable suicide blackspot because that's where Munich's nutters are housed. If you're travelling down that way, please allow extra time for your journey.
