Ice Skating at Olympiapark: Sunday 22.Aug.2004

Come and get out of the summer heat...

Since the last Summer Ice skating event was such a success, we've decided to setup another one for this coming Sunday night starting at 8pm. The skating is from 8-10pm, but we don't have to stay until the very end. Last time we had people of all skill levels..including people on skates for the very first time. So this time as well, beginners are welcome.

The info is as follows:

Date: Sunday August 22nd
Meet Time: 8pm
Location: Olympiapark Ice Rink (U3 Olympiazentrum)
Cost: 3€ (and 3.50€ for new NIKE skate rentals)...must bring ID for deposit.

This Sunday is also the last day of Summerfest at Olympiapark, so it's possible to head there for a beverage after skating.

skating was great fun yesterday, even though my back may not agree! Thanks cannuck for organising it.
After multiple attempts of doing the splits on the rink yesterday, ive decided that my aim for the winter is not to learn to ski, but instead skate backwards!!! So be prepared for an injured chewy!
