All Berlin hotels are booked up next week

Before we move over we plan to visit Berlin with my husband between 23-26March, but the travel agent at work tells us that they find no hotel accommodation for that period in the center. What is happening in Berlin then? If I could get some hotel recommendations in other areas that would be great,.We will have 2 small kids with us, looking for a nice comfortable place from where we can explore the city by car.

March 23-26 it's some major award give away for the advertising industry. I would offer you one of our lofts, but we are full, too. You can try emailing boris@ota-berlin.de, they have 50+ apartments in the Mitte area, which would be best for a family of 4. Good luck!

Just did a quick search using Hotel Reservation! for your dates in berlin and there are loads of hotels available. I have used this service many times.

Hello! Had a great weekend in Berlin and finally found out why some hotels were fully booked - EU 50th anniversary + a german music awards. We stayed in 2 hotels, it might be useful info for somebody so I share it: the Holiday Inn in Charlottenburg was awful, but the Marriott in Potzdamer platz was wonderful (both same price 120 EUR/night incl Bfast).
